Ukulele Ensemble
Learn to play the ukulele in a dynamic and engaging ensemble. Play, sing, listen to, read, and create music together. Gain experience making music with others in a group. This ensemble is intended for participants ages 7–12 who are interested in studying a musical instrument and creating music with other people.
Ages: 7–12 years old; exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
When: 12 Saturdays in the fall and spring semesters.
Tuition: $300 per semester. Need-based tuition assistance is available to families that qualify.
Additional Information
- Participants must have a diagnosed disability.
- No previous musical experience is necessary.
- Participants must be able to participate effectively in lessons or classes, and maintain an environment that is safe for themselves and others.
- A ukulele will be provided for each participant.
COVID-19 Policy for On-Campus Instruction
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, OR evidence of a negative test (PCR within 72 hours of their lesson, antigen test within 24 hours of their lesson) is required of all on-campus participants.
- If proof of vaccination: Participants must show proof of vaccination at the door when they arrive at their first lesson or class.
- If evidence of a negative test: Participants must show evidence of the negative test each week when they arrive at their lesson or class.
Masking is optional when in the buildings.
