John Maynard Keynes developed groundbreaking economic theories in a turbulent time. The musical play Animal Spirits (book, music, and lyrics by David Thorne Scott) shows how Keynes’ friendships and love affairs with brilliant artists and free-spirited bohemians unlocked his genius and changed the world. This staged reading will feature 10 performers and a four-piece band.
