Experience the evocative sounds of Harry Skoler’s latest release, Red Brick Hill, reimagined for a quintet featuring clarinet, trumpet, and rhythm section. This performance showcases Skoler’s new compositions alongside a premier lineup: Jeff Stout (trumpet), Harry Skoler (clarinet), Neil Olmstead (piano), Barry Smith (bass), and Casey Scheuerell (drums).

Trumpeter and composer Philipp Schwarz presents his PhilippHarmonic Bigband, performing a blend of traditional big band music with Brazilian, Cuban, classical, and funk influences.
 

The William Silvio Quartet presents a dynamic blend of jazz and fusion, featuring original works by the group alongside compositions by legendary vibraphonist Mike Mainieri.

Berklee professors Alberto Netto, Joe Mulholland, and Rick McLaughlin come together as the Triptych Project to delve deep into the art of the piano trio.

Spanish composer and pianist Andrés Barrios, recently nominated for the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards, presents an inspiring master class exploring his distinctive blend of flamenco, jazz, and contemporary music. Through live demonstrations, student and faculty participation, and open discussion, Barrios will offer a deep look into his creative process, rhythmic vocabulary, and harmonic approach, illustrating how tradition and innovation can merge to shape a distinctive musical voice.

Pianist and composer Andrés Barrios, recently nominated for the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards, will present his flamenco fusion project in a special event that brings piano and dance together on one stage. He will perform alongside acclaimed flamenco dancer Nino de los Reyes, 2020 Grammy award winner. The performance blends flamenco, jazz, and contemporary music, creating a vibrant dialogue that showcases both tradition and innovation.

In partnership with Festival Paco de Lucía Mallorca and Berklee Global, this event is held with the institutional support of the Paco de Lucía Foundation. The performance is also supported by the Hyatt Inclusive Collection and forms part of the FPDLM Young Talents Scholarship initiative.

This performance showcases new piano music from faculty composer Larry Thomas Bell that draws on the American vernacular and is informed by the European cultivated tradition.
 

Greg Freeman finds emotional catharsis and modern resonance in the eccentric ugliness of the past. His songs are rooted in a vivid sense of place, propelled by urgent delivery and evocative lyricism that mine history for tales of violence, loss, and revelation. Trio Golombkicks off the night.
