Ear Training Class

The more we hear, the more we know. The better participants hear music, the better they understand and perform it. Every musician should study ear training in order to both fully appreciate music and perform it effectively. Participant will learn methods to improve their ability to play music at sight by studying elements of pitch, rhythm, melody, and harmony. 

Ages: 12 and up.

When: 12 Thursday evenings in the fall and spring semesters.

Tuition: $400 per semester. Need-based tuition assistance is available to families that qualify.

Additional Information

  • Participants must have a diagnosed disability.
  • No previous musical experience is necessary.
  • Participants must be able to participate effectively in lessons or classes, and maintain an environment that is safe for themselves and others.

This program will be offered in a fully remote format. It will not be offered on campus.
