Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

My favorite Berklee experience was collaborating with a composer to create a dance film for my junior composition class.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

Dance Challenge with Kurt Douglas has been my favorite class because I was able to analyze dance from many angles. I picked up many tools and was pushed creatively and academically.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston? 

My favorite part about studying in Boston is all of the opportunities and cross collaborations. I love that everything is easy to get to, and the various museums and libraries are a great source of inspiration.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

Learn about your faculty to get a sense of who you want to work with.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

The Ipswich Street building.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Boston Conservatory at Berklee because of the diverse program and the immediate warm welcome I received from this community.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I will be performing in an opera in Seattle.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?

Performing on the Mainstage and the rehearsal process are by far my favorite. It's great to see everyone come together and take risks as a team.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I would love to perform at the ICA.
