  • Attend Admitted Student Events

    Celebrate your admission to Berklee College of Music in person or online with fellow students, faculty, and staff! This spring, place yourself amongst the community you’ll join on campus this fall, including your future classmates. 

  • Pay Your Tuition Deposit

    Tuition deposits are due upon notification of your acceptance. This deposit secures your seat and is credited toward your first semester bill. Go to the admissions portal(Opens in a new window), indicate "yes" to reply to your admissions offer, and then pay the deposit. Learn more about our payment options.

  • Obtain Your I-20 and F-1 Visa

    International students who wish to study at Berklee will need to obtain an I-20 from Berklee and an F-1 visa from the U.S. embassy or consulate in their home country. Both an I-20 and F-1 visa are required to enter the U.S. and begin studying at Berklee.

Need More Time? Your Deferral and Deposit Options

Your acceptance is dependent on the successful completion of any outstanding schoolwork. Admission acceptances are only valid for two consecutive semesters. Should your plans change, you must submit a written request to refund or transfer your tuition deposit to a later semester.

Admitted students to our full­-time undergraduate programs are eligible to defer their admission and associated scholarship, as indicated below:

  • Students admitted to the summer (May) semester may defer to the spring (January) semester.
  • Students admitted to the fall (September) semester may defer their admission to either the spring (January) or summer (May) semester.
  • Students admitted to the spring (January) semester may defer to the summer (May) semester.

Your refund or transfer request must be received by the college no later than:

  • Summer (May) semester: April 1
  • Fall (September) semester: May 1
  • Spring (January) semester: October 15

Please note that if you are selected to participate in the First Year Abroad program on Berklee’s Valencia, Spain, campus, your admissions offer is valid only for the semester for which you were admitted.
