Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.
My favorite experience at Berklee so far has been playing in film scoring sessions in the studios!
When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?
I love how knowledgeable each one of my professors is! Their passion for the course material is so apparent and is really inspiring.
What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?
It's great how close everything is! It is so easy to go to concerts, sporting events, restaurants, etc; all within walking distance!
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?
Try your best! All that the college can ask is that you try your best. You don't need to be perfect—you're coming to school to learn!
Where is your favorite place on campus?
160 Mass Ave! I'm a huge fan of the lounge up on the 15th floor that overlooks the Charles River and the rest of Boston!
Why did you choose Berklee?
I chose Berklee to get a more contemporary music education as a cellist! There aren't many places for string players to go to learn non-classical music but the Berklee String Department faculty is the best of the best!
What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation I plan to teach music abroad! I've grown up in Massachusetts my whole life and now I go to school here—it's time to see the world!
What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?
I have loved the community! Everyone is so supportive and really wants to see their peers succeed.
Where do you hope to perform this coming year?
This year I hope to perform in the graduation concert at Agganis Arena!
