Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.
I have absolutely loved getting my band together and playing shows with them!
When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?
I loved my intro to music business class. I am a huge nerd about music business and it solidified my love for the subject as well as introduced me to a ton of interesting industry professionals.
What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?
I love that there is always something to do in the city. We are surrounded by so many colleges that there is never a boring moment.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?
Be yourself! As cheesy as it sounds, your individuality will make you stand out at this school. Berklee is a place to express yourself and explore new avenues—take advantage of that!
Where is your favorite place on campus?
I love the courtyard outside of 7 Haviland (when it's not covered in snow).
Why did you choose Berklee?
It gave me a place to take my traditionally classical instrument (the violin) and play it in all new ways. I am now primarily an electric violinist and I get to sing indie rock/emo music!
What are your plans for after graduation?
New York City! And world domination. But New York first!
What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?
They have been so full of energy and raw talent. And getting to collaborate with the best of the best never disappoints.
Where do you hope to perform this coming year?
I hope to land a caf show!
