Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.
My favorite Berklee experience was the protest against racism. I found that it was imperative to address such behavior due to the lack of representation for minorities.
When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?
My favorite class would certainly be my improvisational class. It allowed me to realize different ways I could move and express myself.
What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?
Having the ability to explore my artistry in such a welcoming and supportive environment is one of my favorite parts of studying at the Conservatory. Also, having the opportunity to witness such beautiful settings just adds to my love for the city.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?
Some advice I would give a new applicant would be to always stay true to themselves. Furthermore, strive to be a better version of themselves each and every day.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus would definitely be the cafe because of the variety of events that takes place and all of the networking you get to do.
Why did you choose Berklee?
I chose Berklee because of its impeccable reputation and the different courses they have to help me and my career.
What are your plans for after graduation?
My plan for after I graduate is to audition for many dance companies [and] hopefully being able to join Lines Ballet in San Francisco.
What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?
I have enjoyed how organized [it is] being on stage and how supportive the community is at the school.
Where do you hope to perform this coming year?
I hope to perform at the Boston Conservatory Theater and Berklee [Performance Center] stage.
