Mediterranean Music Institute Spring Concert: Lagrimas de Mujer
This year, the Mediterranean Music Institute celebrates Back to Berklee with a concert commemorating the 20th anniversary of the historic album Lagrimas Negras. This album marked a turning point in the music industry and became one of the most important albums in Spanish and Latin American Music.
Directed by Javier Limón and Matthew Nicholl, the MMI spring concert will feature an ensemble of student musicians performing contemporary arrangements of the songs from this seminal album. Titled "Lagrimas de Mujer," the concert will feature the new, young female voices of Berklee 2022.
