Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

My favorite Berklee experience has been celebrating the Berklee community at the 270 Lounge. I love reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, exploring different cultures and cuisines, and sharing our music. It reminds me how music brings people from all over the world together.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

Human Anatomy and Vocal Wellness are two of my favorite classes because they teach me how the body works and how I can apply that knowledge as a musician. I love learning about breathing and vocal production and using what I learn to improve my technique and take better care of my voice.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

My favorite part about studying at Berklee and living in Boston is having a city campus that makes it so easy to explore! Whether it’s trying new foods, visiting aquariums, or going mini golfing, there’s always something fun to do just a T ride away. I love how much there is to discover!

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

Focus on the music you love and what feels most authentic to you. The more you try to fit into a mold that isn’t yours, the more you can lose the little things that make you unique. Trust yourself, embrace your individuality, and let that shine through your music!

Where is your favorite place on campus?

I might be a little biased, but my favorite spot on campus is the 270 Basement Lounge. It has everything from a kitchen and pool and ping pong tables to a cozy hangout space. It’s the perfect place to meet people, socialize, and have spontaneous jam sessions.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Berklee because it is one of the few music schools that embraces so many genres and styles of music. I love how diverse the curriculum is and how much I get to learn beyond my major. The education here is incredible, and my favorite part is that I often find myself learning new things without even realizing I’m being taught.

What are your plans for after graduation?

After graduation, I hope to pursue a career that allows me to balance my two passions: music therapy and performing. I’d love to work part-time as a music therapist while also growing as a singer-songwriter, creating music that connects with people both inside and outside the therapy room.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you've been involved in at Berklee?

What I enjoy most about Berklee’s live shows is collaborating with incredible artists and learning from the people around me. Every experience teaches me something new, whether it’s about stage presence, musical excellence, or working as a team. There’s always something to learn, and I love growing with every opportunity!

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I hope to perform in the BPC or for a Cafe Show the upcoming year.
