Learning

We bring together leaders, practitioners, and industry experts with diverse perspectives to break down silos, exchange knowledge, and collaborate for impact.
Since 2018, the Berklee Music and Health Institute has brought together a dynamic and diverse network—ranging from local community leaders to global experts in music, art, medicine, technology, music therapy, and academia. Our flagship initiative, the Music and Health Exchange Series, has convened over 1,300 participants from more than 200 organizations worldwide. Far more than a symposium, the Exchange Series functions as a curated set of interdisciplinary working groups—designed to move ideas from theory to practice. Each exchange is grounded in real-world challenges and structured to foster actionable dialogue, spark collaborations, and advance research, policy, and practice. Complementing this, our Innovation Studio runs ongoing design challenges that tackle pressing health disparities, translating collective insights into scalable music and health solutions.
