Empowering Musicians to Advance Community Well-Being
Music has the power to heal, inspire, and bring people together. The Community Health Musician Certificate empowers musicians from all backgrounds to use that power to make a difference.
Communities today face challenges like isolation, stigma, and loss of connection. Musicians are uniquely positioned to help. Through increased training, reflection, and collaboration, musicians can learn how to translate their artistic strengths into meaningful community impact, creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Developed by Berklee’s Music and Health Institute, this hybrid program bridges artistry and public health, training musicians to design and lead inclusive, music-based programs that support connection, creativity, and community resilience.
