Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

A 6 a.m. walk across the river after a long late-night recording session following a night out, when making music doesn't feel like "work."

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

Collaborative MP&E production classes are what helped me define myself as a producer and develop a clear vision of what music production means to me. They filled me with memories and valuable experiences that are definitely worth keeping.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

It is so easy to make Boston feel like home, regardless of where you are coming from, which is something extremely important considering that you will be spending a significant part of your academic life here.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

Remember that you have a story to tell and a dream to pursue regardless of any application process. The audition is a way for you to showcase that dream. When you eventually find yourself here, open your mind and allow your musicianship to develop. You’ll be surrounded by some of the best and most diverse young musicians in the world, so let them inspire you and inspire them in return.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

I made the 136 API studios my home during the last year. There is something so cozy about the analog consoles with the orange lights and subtle warmth coming out of them. Especially during winter!

Why did you choose Berklee?

Before applying, I chose Berklee because it was considered the best in its field, and I wanted to become the best in my field as well. Now, I have so many more reasons that I never would have considered before coming here. It fits my style, my music, my goals, and my principles in a way that feels right. Knowing that, I would have applied even if it wasn’t considered the best.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I’m planning to work in a studio while also releasing my own music as a producer and songwriter, collaborating with singers and other artists.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you've been involved in at Berklee?

Performing on a stage is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience, but doing live sound for an event while trying to bring out the best in the musicians is especially intriguing to me, too.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

This coming year, I’m hoping to perform at the Berklee Performance Center as part of a larger production and at an outside festival as part of a band.
