I am a composer, improvisor, and trumpet player who is passionate about helping musicians realize their path. As a performer I have a background in Western classical music, world music, and jazz, but I have a particular interest in improvisation-based music, including avant-jazz and free improvisation. As an administrator, I feel the most at-home in higher education and enjoy getting to know the Berklee community. I hold a Bachelor of Music from the University of Massachusetts—Lowell and a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music. When not performing, I like to spend my spare time trying new food, cooking, and playing with my two cats, Pepper and Bagel.
