Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

The Stevie Wonder tribute! It was an amazing team organizing a show meant to honor one of my biggest idols, and I had the privilege to work and perform the backing vocals of the pieces.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

Vocal Technique and Wellness is by far my favorite this semester. I'm really enjoying the practical aspect of adapting my actual anatomy to modify my voice.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

The friends that have practically become my family. They are the reason why I managed to make Boston my home far away from home!

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

Be open! Open to any opportunity that comes your way. It's impossible to not get overwhelmed at first, but Berklee gives you the space to realize that you are more than capable of adapting and learning your limits once you've established your true passions. So look for exposure, connect with people that you want to learn from/with, and give yourself the chance to discover who you are, both artistically and personally.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

When the weather's nice, the tables in 7 Haviland.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Berklee because of the international community that it proudly showcases; I wanted to experience as much of the world's music as possible, and there's no better place to do just that than here!

What are your plans for after graduation?

I want to work with singers and arrange vocals, be it for independent artists, record labels, live performances, tours, and more. In the long run, teaching vocal pedagogy and arranging would also be incredibly fulfilling as well.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?

The live shows at Berklee create an environment that is equally safe to make mistakes and learn, as it is professional, to motivate you to do the best job you can.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

The BPC!
