Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

My favorite experience at Berklee so far has been recording in the studios with my friends and making music that is outside of my comfort zone. I love that the people who you work with can push you to make bold decisions that make you a better artist.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

My favorite class at Berklee so far was my intro to music therapy class. This class inspired me to choose music therapy as my minor after discovering the large positive impact music can have on humans health and well-being.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston? 

My favorite parts about living and studying in Boston are the vast opportunities that the city and school have to offer. Boston and Berklee allow people to be authentic to themselves while making connections with other like-minded individuals that share the same passion as you—which is a great environment for aspiring artists.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

One piece of advice I would give to people at Berklee is to fully immerse yourself within the community whenever possible. Berklee has so many opportunities and each time you are able to say yes to a new experience it betters you as an artist.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Berklee because I wanted a school that specialized in helping artists find their sound and full potential in an inspiring and safe environment.

What are your plans for after graduation?

My plans for after graduation are to record and release my own music and to travel around the world with my band.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?

My favorite part about live shows at Berklee is how much crowd support and love you get from friends and people who watch your shows! Everyone is always so supportive of each other, which makes for an amazing environment to perform in.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I plan to perform at venues around Boston such as the Lilypad and Secret Island as well as the Loft and Red Room at Berklee!
