Arun Pandian started his career in 1998 performing on Lauryn Hill's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which sold 18 million albums worldwide and won five Grammys. He then spent the following two years on Hill's Miseducation World Tour, sharing lead guitar duties with legendary guitarist Al Anderson (Bob Marley and the Wailers). Along the way, he shared stages with artists such as Carlos Santana, Mary J. Blige, and Nas, and made numerous TV appearances, including on the Grammy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards, and Saturday Night Live.
Pandian has been working as an engineer and producer since 2003. Notable artists he has had worked include Mumford & Sons, Norah Jones, John Legend, Melody Gardot, David Lang, Gabriel Garzón Montano, Amber Mark, Mon Laferte, Simi Stone, Gavin DeGraw, Savion Glover, Mtume, Escort, Dawn Landes, and Jerry Marotta.
