This course examines the "how and why" of songwriting and music production, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to make informed choices. Through analysis and exploration of various techniques, students will gain a deeper understanding of the nuanced decisions involved in crafting impactful musical compositions as well as the development of a unique signature as a songwriter and producer. Students will then use this methodology to develop their Culminating Experience, which they will define, ideate, and prototype throughout the course.
