Allison Miller will deliver a drum set master class with emphasis on compositional applications as part of the Harmony and Jazz Composition Department's Jazz Composition Festival. This event is presented in in conjunction with the Percussion Department.

Singaporean-born jazz composer, pianist, and noise enthusiast Alvan Png presents their jazz composition senior recital. Joyful Noise features dynamic, challenging, avant-garde jazz originals, offering a bold statement on what jazz can be.

Three finalists will be selected to perform a 15-minute set with their bands or chamber ensembles at the Al Natale Scholarship Concert.

Jazz composer Alexander Ted Chen's senior recital will feature original compositions and arrangements.

Pianist and composer Jiayi Guo presents her compositional work highlighting traditional Chinese folk music through the jazz and improvisation idiom.

Bassist Ben Rachminov presents his senior recital with the band the Lunch Ladies, performing original songs written by the group that combine elements of rock and funk.

This performance is a dynamic and spirit-filled concert of contemporary Christian rock, pop, and gospel music performed by student worship leaders and led by Assistant Voice Professor Julie Kinscheck. The artists will be backed by a stellar band led by Guitar Professor Jim Peterson.
