KidsJam

KidsJam(Opens in a new window) is a free interactive music education program for children ages 3–5 provided to the Boston area by Berklee's Music Education Department. The program introduces young children to a variety of musical activities essential to a well-rounded music education. These include singing and sound exploration; moving; playing rhythm instruments; creating, listening, and responding to music; and learning about a variety of musical concepts and instruments.
During this weekly workshop, Berklee music education students, led by Professor Libby Allison, practice their teaching skills in a fun and energetic setting.
KidsJam sessions take place on Mondays (unless otherwise noted) 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from September through April. Please check the schedule(Opens in a new window) for exact dates and times. Sessions are free and fill up quickly. Advance registration is required by filling out the online registration form(Opens in a new window) or emailing kidsjam@berklee.edu.
