Two Track(Opens in a new window) is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance. The videos in this series will premiere at specific dates and times, but if you miss the premiere, each video will be public on the channel in continuity.
This Two Track episode features Mexican singer-songwriter Natalia Toache performing the songs “Todo Cambió” by Camila and “Is this what it feels like?” composed by herself.
About the Artist
Natalia Toache(Opens in a new window) is a singer-songwriter from Mexico City, raised in San Luis Potosí. From a very young age she became interested in writing songs and mixing genres—which might best explain her musical background and love for different styles. With themes such as mental health, growing up, self love, and living life, Nat’s songwriting connects with those who relate to her feelings and words, and hopefully becomes a safe space for those who need it. If you love pop, rock, and a little bit of everything else, you’ll love Natalia Toache and her music.
Her band features Zachary Khoo(Opens in a new window) (guitar), Jiwon Kim(Opens in a new window) (guitar), Amy Rivera Cuevas(Opens in a new window) (percussion/vocals), Laura Estabridis(Opens in a new window) (percussion/vocals), John Yeheon(Opens in a new window) (jingle bells/vocals), Bryan Chan(Opens in a new window) (shakers/vocals), and Fran Winer(Opens in a new window) (glockenspiel/vocals), as well as vocalists Mary Ruth Mcleay(Opens in a new window), Jon Tan(Opens in a new window), Emilio Gonzalez(Opens in a new window), and Anna Sellström(Opens in a new window).
