Red Room at Cafe 939

The Berklee College of Music Brass Department welcomes acclaimed trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and educator Sean Jones for a special master class with Berklee brass students.

 

The Red Room at Cafe 939 proudly presents Fresh Prospects, a free concert series spotlighting emerging artists. Curated by Berklee students with an ear for talent, this series offers an intimate glimpse into the music scene’s future, featuring local performers making waves and capturing attention.

Paloma Morphy is a Mexican singer-songwriter whose work is rooted in intuition and emotional honesty, creating a minimalist pop sound that connects with a new generation of listeners.

In conjunction with the Red Room at Cafe 939, the Songwriting Department proudly presents Berklee Original Open Mic, an open mic event for Berklee songwriters. 

Berklee bass professor Evan Marien blends genres, technology, and technique in an electrifying performance. With hundreds of thousands of YouTube views and a worldwide following, Marien will be joined by fellow Berklee faculty and students.
 

Anastassiya Petrova, an Ensemble Department faculty member and multi-keyboardist, presents a program of jazz originals and selected covers, joined by dear friends. 

High Tea, the folk-punk duo hailing from Massachusetts, is the explosive creation of a story-spinning blues guitarist and a harmony-obsessed punk. Isabella DeHerdt and Isaac Eliot have come together to fill spaces with homegrown storytelling and raucous, booming vocals. 

This performance celebrates the global impact of Latin music through Berklee’s world-renowned faculty, talented students and alumni, and vibrant community of artists and industry leaders.
