Red Room at Cafe 939

Red Room at Cafe 939 is a state-of-the-art, all-ages, student-run music venue and coffee house. Located at 939 Boylston Street, the 200-person capacity concert venue showcases Berklee's emerging student talent, local artists, as well as national acts seeking a more intimate, personal space in which to perform and connect with their fans.

Pianist and composer Andrés Barrios, recently nominated for the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards, will perform alongside acclaimed flamenco dancer Nino de los Reyes in a special event that brings their artistry together on one stage. This performance blends flamenco, jazz, and contemporary music, creating a vibrant dialogue between piano and dance that showcases both tradition and innovation.

This event is presented in collaboration with Festival Paco de Lucía Mallorca, which has the institutional support of the Paco de Lucía Foundation, together with Berklee Global, and is part of the Festival Paco de Lucía Mallorca Young Talents Scholarship initiative.

Berklee in the Round takes place on the second Tuesday of each month. Inspired by the in-the-round performances at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee, the event features up to five Berklee songwriters seated in a circle as they take turns playing songs.
