Virtual Event

Two Track(Opens in a new window) is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance. The videos in this series will premiere at specific dates and times, but if you miss the premiere, each video will be public on the channel in continuity.

This week's Two Track features Nicolle Horbath performing her original music and covers with a range of instrumentalists from Berklee.

About the Artist

Nicolle Horbath is a singer, songwriter, and arranger from Colombia who combines jazz, pop, and popular music from the Caribbean coast of Colombia and Latin America. Nicolle has performed in sold-out national and international concerts, sharing the stage with Grammy-winning musicians such as Carlos Vives, Monsieur Periné, Emily Stefan, and Chucho Valdés.

In 2018, she was awarded the most important scholarship in Latin music, Prodigy Scholarship 2018, granted by the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation sponsored by Carlos Vives. This scholarship covers her entire music career at Berklee College of Music, where she is currently majoring in professional music. Nicolle is the first female and Latina student to get her own Berklee Performance Center show, a concert named "The Dream—Viviendo el Sueño," which she is putting together with Nuyorican student Emanuel Lewis that will take place on April 20, 2022.
