Two Track: Irma Högberg (Virtual Concert)

Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance. The videos in this series will premiere at specific dates and times, but if you miss the premiere, each video will be public on the channel in continuity. 

This Two Track episode features Swedish singer-songwriter Irma Högberg perfoming the songs “Holding My Own” by H.E.R. and her original tune “Give Me a Minute.”

About the Artist

Swedish artist Irma Högberg is a 21-year-old singer and songwriter whose sound is influenced by R&B and indie pop. Her heartfelt lyrics and soulful music are inspired by artists such as Snoh Aalegra, Olivia Dean, H.E.R, and many more. From a young age, Irma has been submerged in various cultures, moving around to different countries including South Africa, Sweden, Vietnam, Japan, and the United States. Her music is heavily based on her life experiences, while encouraging exploration and self-discovery using music as a universal language.

Högberg’s band features Natalia Toache and Pedro Ruiz on background vocals, Desiree Orien Tay on percussion, Sam Wyman on guitar, and Wenrui on electric bass.
