Described as a modern jazz icon-in-the-making, drummer Allison Miller has won critics polls in DownBeat and JazzTimes magazines. Miller is a proud member of the supergroup ARTEMIS, and her composition “Speak Eddie” is featured in New Standards: 101 Lead Sheets by Women Composers.
The Gathering is an ongoing series presented by the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice. Events are open to the greater Berklee community and public, and feature performances, guest lectures, workshops, and discussions—all with gender equity as a guiding principle.
