The Music Business/Management and Professional Music departments, through a generous grant by the CJ Cultural Foundation, will present the Business of K-pop and the Korean Wave Symposium.

This two-part event consists of a Berklee-exclusive afternoon A&R panel, the Business of K-pop: A&R Listening Session (login required), during which students who submitted music for review will be given feedback by industry experts, including KAIROS and Adrian McKinnon, both of whom have contributed to some of the biggest K-pop songs of all time.

The evening event, which is open to the public, will begin with a performance by the KCSA (Korean Culture Student Association), followed by a panel discussion with Korean pop band ADOY, band manager Daniel Ha, and special guest Jake Hong, director of U.S. music business at CJ E&M media company. The evening’s festivities will conclude with an exclusive, first-time-on-U.S.-soil appearance by ADOY.
