Following the debut of Queen D. Scott's "The Black Book Cypher," a three-movement multimedia hip-hop composition, members from Berklee's Association of Faculty and Staff of African Descent (AFSAD) and Berklee Black Scholars Initiative (BSI) will "join the cypher" and respond to Scott's work with live performances of their original works. The performances will be followed by panel discussion with faculty and student artists making this a transgenerational conversation on Black creative practices.
