Acclaimed Indian vocalist Shreya Ghoshal joins the Berklee Indian Ensemble for an evening celebrating Indian classical, semiclassical, folk, and contemporary music.
Ghoshal, India’s premier Bollywood playback singer, joins the Berklee Indian Ensemble in a celebration of her remarkable musical journey. The Berklee Indian Ensemble is world renowned through its YouTube videos, reaching more than 25 million people around the globe. Together, Ghoshal and the Berklee Indian Ensemble will bring magic to the stage with their spirited and uplifting performance.
Ghoshal began her musical journey at age 4, learning songs from her vocalist mother; started formal training in Hindustani classical music at 6; entered and won an Indian music reality television show at 16; and made her Bollywood playback debut at 18. Since then, she has performed all over the world.
