The Hamilton-Garrett Center for Music & Arts (HGMA) celebrates its 25th anniversary with Make Them Hear You, an electrifying benefit concert honoring Grammy and Emmy Award–winning producer, world-renowned musical director, and bassist Adam Blackstone.
One of the music industry's most sought-after musical directors, Blackstone has worked with global superstars including Jay-Z, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Janet Jackson, and helped shape iconic performances at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Grammy Awards, Oscars, and on The Voice.
This special evening celebrates Black music, artistry, and the next generation of creative talent, featuring dynamic performances by the Hamilton-Garrett Youth Choir, Hamilton-Garrett Drumline, Hamilton-Garrett Marching Band, and the Academy. Blackstone will also take the stage for a special performance alongside the HGMA community and a house band featuring Berklee College of Music and HGMA faculty.
For 25 years, HGMA has been dedicated to celebrating and preserving Black music while providing educational and performance opportunities for Greater Boston youth. Make Them Hear You honors that legacy while inspiring the next generation of musicians and creative leaders.
All proceeds benefit the Hamilton-Garrett Center for Music & Arts and its educational and artistic programming.
