Graduating vocalist Jiayi Zhang presents Sunflowers Toward the Night, a senior recital exploring growth, memory, loneliness, and self-discovery. Through a collection of emotionally expressive songs, the performance moves from longing and inner struggle toward acceptance, connection, and gratitude. Inspired by the image of a sunflower growing toward the night, the recital reflects on learning to move forward even when the path ahead is uncertain.
