The #BerkleeAnywhere Concert Series features Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee students performing virtually wherever they are around the world. We may be separated by distance, but music empowers us to unite. Wherever you are, we invite you to connect with us every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Berklee’s IGTV and Facebook pages.
About the Artist
Forest Romm is a songwriting and banjo performance major at Berklee College of Music. Having spent a lot of time steeped in old time and Appalachian music, Romm’s writing brings the storytelling of those traditions into a contemporary folk context with songs such as “Roll the Dice,” an up-tempo minor key song about a woman who has to make a difficult decision; “Send Me Away,” a mid-tempo major key love song about longing to belong somewhere; and “Lime Tree Arbor,” a cover of a Nick Cave song.
