The David Friend Recital Hall, located in the Genko Uchida building at 921 Boylston Street, is a semicircular performance space with a horseshoe-shaped balcony, designed by architect Shizuo Harada.

Hey Rim Jeon, professor in the piano department at Berklee College of Music, leads a solo piano concert featuring students from her course, Solo Piano Improvisations of Keith Jarrett, as well as from her private studio. Students will demonstrate Jarrett’s improvisational techniques and improvise their own piano solos.
