Red Room at Cafe 939

Kobe-born, Brooklyn-based trumpeter Takuya Kuroda brings the groove-driven brilliance of his new album, Everyday—a triumph of modern jazz blending hip-hop, neo-soul, and shimmering lyricism—to the stage at the Red Room.

In conjunction with the Red Room at Cafe 939, the Songwriting Department proudly presents Berklee Original Open Mic, an open mic event for Berklee songwriters. 

Skye Harding performs original music from her first EP and upcoming album in a recital marking the close of her Berklee chapter.

This concert features students from Associate Professor Rene Pfister's Vocal Master Class performing original songs written this semester, self-accompanied on guitar and piano.

Guitarist Seku Fujino-Harmachis presents original music with his band, Orangeblossom, alongside covers performed with collaborators from California and Boston. Blending neo-soul, jazz, R&B, and blues, the program reflects his Berklee College of Music journey through sound.

Guitarist Lucas Tytla performs a set of original songs and covers in a mix of folk and jazz styles.

Pop artist Ally Feng delivers a powerful showcase of originals and reimagined covers, weaving a narrative of resilience and the courage it takes to believe in oneself.
