The Berklee Global Jazz Institute graduate program presents an unconventional big band with new compositions and arrangements that highlight influences from around the world and embody Wayne Shorter's definition of jazz: "I dare you..." With a 20-person ensemble featuring musical elements such as steelpan and tap dance, the orchestra will share the teachings and spirit of the institute.
