Artistry in Action: Piano Masters Series—Kate Liu in Recital
Ten years after winning third prize in the 2015 International Chopin Competition, Kate Liu’s video performances from Warsaw have garnered millions of views and ecstatic reactions, and her magical playing has earned her a cult following and a devoted international audience. She now tours internationally, performing at some of the world’s most renowned venues and collaborating with orchestras around the globe. Her Piano Masters Series recital will include Chopin mazurkas and his “Funeral March” sonata along with Scriabin’s third sonata and Franck’s Prelude, Chorale, and Fugue.
Piano Masters Series is artistically directed by Michael Lewin and part of Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Artistry in Action Series.
