Troyer the Destroyer: The Space Pig Musical, by Sara Nicholson and Benny Gammerman, will be performed by Berklee's Staged Reading Ensemble, directed by Kevin Bleau, associate professor of harmony.
The pigs of Pig Planet are starving! Their only option? Eat the old pigs. At least, that’s their leader’s plan, and Troyer’s grandma is first on the menu. Who is Troyer? Why, he’s our unlikely hero! Troyer decides to steal a spaceship and travel to the Planet of Delicious Things (a.k.a. Earth) to bring back enough food to save his species. On the way, he’ll discover the bizarre eating habits of humans, the secret of his planet, and that doing the right thing can change the course of history.
