Tamara Jokic is a singer and composer born in Serbia. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, she moved to New York, where she is currently living and creating. Singing in more than 10 languages, Jokic develops her own expression in the world music genre, nurturing the fusion of Mediterranean and Balkan music.

She is also a multidisciplinary educator and a speaker. After obtaining a B.A. and an M.A. degree in linguistics at the University of Belgrade and the University of Granada, and shortly after completing her music degree at Berklee College of Music, she explored the correlation between languages, voice, and music. On the topics of voice and language in the Mediterranean, multilingual singing, and linguistic and musical heritage, Jokic has held various masterclasses, lectures, and clinics. Some of the institutions she collaborated with are City University of New York (CUNY), Politecnico di Milano, Berklee College of Music, Lebanese American University (LAU), University of Novi Sad, and Instituto Camões, among others.

Devoted to Mediterranean culture, music, and languages, she has composed and performed with world-class artists, such as Javier Limón, Mariza, NY Gypsy All Stars, Panagiotis Andreou, Amira Medunjanin, and Zulfu Livaneli, as well as prominent gaming and multimedia platforms, such as Netflix, Rogue Games, and Demagog Studio.

Jokic has performed in numerous acclaimed concert halls throughout the world, including Carnegie Hall, Symphony Space NY, Kombank Dvorana, Teatro Zarzuela in Madrid, Kolarčeva Zadužbina in Belgrade, and Berklee Performance Center.

In February 2022, she released her first album, Transibérica, with Sony Music Entertainment Portugal.
