In Their Own Words

"With my students I focus on technique, phrasing, time, touch, and feel. These abstract words used to describe making music comfortable and exciting to the listener are in my experience, the fundamental launch pad for every musician.
I encourage my students to be active listeners. Not only to the other musicians they're playing with, but also to themselves. Good listeners make good communicators and that is our goal as musicians to serve the music we play with our own unique personality."

"I've been fortunate in my career to perform on some of the biggest stages in the world. I share what I have learned from these amazing experiences with my students and give them the tools to be successful in an ever changing industry."
