Biography

Gabie Flores (she/her) joined the Berklee community in August 2023 after her tenure at Northeastern University as a student success coordinator. Previously responsible for launching a new mentorship initiative for graduate and undergraduate students, she brings in a wealth of experience in helping students navigate their academic success, well-being, career planning, and more. She is passionate about uplifting the Latinx community as a Puerto Rican and Salvadorian queer woman. Her expertise as a success coordinator precedes her time as a resident director at Tufts University, where she oversaw resident assistants and ensured a safe and equitable living environment for first-year students. 

Gabie is passionate about supporting all students in navigating tools, managing conflict, and establishing and accomplishing goals. She is eager for the opportunity to understand her students and work with them to achieve educational, creative, and lifelong success. She fosters a genuine curiosity and focus with a holistic advisory approach by providing an environment for students to express themselves and reach their greatest potential.  

Gabie holds an M.Ed in educational leadership and policy studies from Boston University and a B.A. in technical writing from John Carroll University. Lastly, she holds a Project Management Certification from Harvard Business School. 

When Gabie is not on campus, you can find her reading a book, or playing soccer with friends.
