Doug Plante

Doug Plante (he/him) joined the student success team in July 2023, beginning an exciting new chapter in a career devoted to education in all its facets. He earned a B.S. in communications/media from Fitchburg State University and a M.Ed. with dual licensure in elementary education and Instructional Technology from Lesley University. Beginning as an editor for educational television and then spending 15 years teaching both film at the college level and K-12 students in Massachusetts public schools, Doug has always looked for ways to help others shape and define their own stories. He looks forward to getting to know his Berklee advisees and helping them to find their own path to success.

Outside of Berklee, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, especially exploring their shared interests in film; curating the extensive collection of vinyl records inherited from his grandfather; and working on his home-built retro arcade cabinet.
