Biography
When the pandemic forced Rosaileen Scher to leave Berklee and return home to New York, she began sharing a new song every day on social media as ROSIE. She soon went viral with her heartbreak ballad, “Never the 1,” which now has more than 4 million TikTok likes and 18 million views. Singers like Olivia Rodrigo and Troye Sivan took notice, as did major labels, leading to ROSIE signing with Arista Records. She released her debut, 20mg of Happiness, in 2021, and toured with artists, such as Chelsea Cutler and Jake Scott. And the 23-year-old singer and songwriter expects to release a new EP later this year.
