Vaughn Brathwaite is an entrepreneur, musician, and internet marketing business consultant. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he has been a professional musician for over 23 years, playing the piano, Hammond organ, tenor saxophone, and bass guitar. With a passion for gospel music, he founded his online music academy, the Gospel University (formerly OrganMadeEasy.com) in 2015. The academy serves over 500,000 students worldwide and is growing every day.

Brathwaite stresses to all of his students that if you can think like a pro, you can play like a pro. He also believes that musicians need to embrace the business side of music along with the artistic side, and always educates his students with this philosophy in mind.

In Their Own Words

"If you can think like a pro, you can play like a pro. No matter what you play, you're a drummer because everyone must focus on the rhythmic aspects of their playing just as much or even more than the harmonic side of the music. The difference between A-list players and B-list players is attention to detail."

"My marketing experience made me realize that as a creative, you must have a handle on your money. You must know how to charge your worth and market yourself to get in front of a lot of eyeballs, and learn how to do so at the least cost possible. I teach my students how to strategically plan their careers by acting in very streamlined ways and by helping them stay independent and true to themselves as artists and human beings."
