Description

This course will introduce students to the gospel organ playing style, made popular by notable organists such as Cory Henry, Billy Preston, Maceo Woods, Charles Nicks, Butch Heyward, Glenn Gibson Jr., and many others. Students will learn the specific techniques necessary for developing a solid foundation in the gospel organ music style, and learn popular gospel organ music repertoire.
