Description

The Berklee K-pop ensemble explores and celebrates contemporary music and culture of South Korea in a variety of genres: K-pop, r&b, hip-hop, funk, indie, and rock. Artists explored include Blackpink, BTS, IU, Yerin Baek, Park Hyo Shin, AKMU, Crush and many more. The class will study past and current pop culture trends and its collaborations with the global music industry. Vocalists in this ensemble will be required to sing in Korean; proficiency in Korean is highly recommended.
