The annual commencement concert, held on May 6 at the Agganis Arena, featured some of the college’s most accomplished students paying tribute to the honorary doctor of music degree recipients with performances of music associated with their careers.
The concert showcased arrangements of the music of actor, singer, and dancer Rita Moreno '16H; the R&B, Motown soul, and funk of the Isley Brothers; and Brazilian singer-songwriter Milton Nascimento's eclectic stylings of bossa nova and folk with African, classical, jazz, and rock influences.
