Join us for a special performance and panel discussion in partnership with the Goethe Institute.

In this panel, Jazz and Gender Justice founder and renowned jazz drummer Terri Lyne Carrington, along with managing director and musicologist Aja Burrell Wood, jazz pianist and JGJ associate director Kris Davis, and German jazz singer and activist Johanna Schneider, will discuss strategies for how to promote gender and racial equity in the jazz community.

Before the panel Kris Davis will perform with a JGJ student ensemble, featuring compositions from New Standards: 101 Lead Sheets by Women Composers.
