Berklee Artists Return to Perform at Boston Snowport Holiday Market

The performances, a weekly highlight of the holiday market, are the result of a partnership between the Snowport, Mohegan Sun, and the Berklee Popular Music Institute.

Berklee artists will return to perform at the Snowport, Boston’s open-air winter market in the Seaport neighborhood, as part of the Mohegan Music Mondays series. Starting on Monday, November 10, emerging student artists selected by the Berklee Popular Music Institute (BPMI) will hold weekly performances featuring holiday covers and original music on the Stage by Mohegan Sun.

“I’m so happy to continue our partnership with the Snowport team, curating live performances for Mohegan Music Mondays this holiday season,” said Morgan Milardo, artistic and managing director for the BPMI. “I’m incredibly grateful to the student talent scouts at BPMI and our partners at the Berklee Career Center who helped organize the lineup, and am thrilled to see our artists celebrate the magic of the season alongside the members of the greater Boston community.”

About the Berklee Popular Music Institute

The Berklee Popular Music Institute's BPMI Live program is a one-year program that provides practical access to high levels of the music industry, with a focus on the thriving concert festival circuit. Founded by Jeff Dorenfeld (former manager of the band Boston) and now under the guidance of Morgan Milardo, students learn how to navigate careers in the ever-changing music industry as they hone their skills in artist discovery and development, communication, marketing, promotion, and live music. Curriculum activities are designed in collaboration with today's top industry figures to reflect contemporary trends and practices in the music business. The capstone of the curriculum includes opportunities for students to participate at prestigious festivals and industry conferences. Students travel to festivals such as Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Bourbon & Beyond, where they act as artist managers, production and tour managers, and artist media representatives.
