Berklee artists are performing at the Snowport, Boston’s open-air winter market in the Seaport neighborhood, this holiday season as part of Mohegan Music Mondays. Starting in mid-November, the performances have featured current students selected by the Berklee Popular Music Institute (BPMI) at Jingle Bar in the market every Monday at 5:00 p.m. Performances with Berklee students will continue through December 23.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Snowport team to curate live performances for their new series Mohegan Music Mondays,” said Morgan Milardo, artistic and managing director of the BPMI. “We couldn't be more proud of our student talent scouts who helped organize the lineup, and are very happy to celebrate the magic of the holidays alongside the greater Boston community.”

Upcoming performances will feature multi-genre musician Jack Whitney (December 9), singer-songwriter and producer Cordelia Fox Redmond (December 16), and alternative-indie artist Analise (December 23).

Since the series began, the Snowport has hosted artist and producer Lourde Childs (November 11), folk-rock singer-songwriter Preston Lydotes (November 18), genre-blending singer-songwriter Sofia Corts (November 25), and J-pop/rock group MAMO (December 2).

About the Berklee Popular Music Institute

The Berklee Popular Music Institute's BPMI Live program is a one-year program that provides practical access to high levels of the music industry, with a focus on the thriving concert festival circuit. Founded by Jeff Dorenfeld (former manager of the band Boston) and now under the guidance of Morgan Milardo, students learn how to navigate careers in the ever-changing music industry as they hone their skills in artist discovery and development, communication, marketing, promotion, and live music. Curriculum activities are designed in collaboration with today's top industry figures to reflect contemporary trends and practices in the music business. The capstone of the curriculum includes opportunities for students to participate at prestigious festivals and industry conferences. Students travel to festivals such as Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Bourbon & Beyond, where they act as artist managers, production and tour managers, and artist media representatives.
