Yoshie Nakayama is a composer, arranger, singer, trombone player, and cofounder of the global initiative Songs for World Peace.
People recognize her warm and jazzy a cappella productions. Her creations vary from traditional Japanese songs to jazz and big band, among others. Her works are published in the U.S. and in Japan, and are stocked in the Japanese Library of Congress in Tokyo.

I have worked with outdoor concerts, arena shows, and studio recordings, which are very different. The one thing that's always the case is that people don't have time to waste. I hope my classes will plant the fundamental skills and extend students' abilities and potential to the fullest."
