In Their Own Words

"I hope students leave my classes with an appreciation of literary art and an ability to connect literature to their own lives as well as to the other arts and larger cultural developments."

"As a practicing poet, I try to lift the curtain for my students by exploring the choices authors make to augment their visions of the world."
